BFP!

Oh my goodness....can this really be happening? DH & I tested again this morning...and there it was...a faint...but positive line. Wow....I'm in shock right now...and can't believe that everything worked on our first month. I'm already worrying about this baby...wondering if I ate anything weird the last couple of days that might hurt the baby. DH isn't completely convinced since it's a faint line...but I checked...and it hasn't disappeared...so a line is a line....and we're having a BABY!!

Our First BFN.....

Ok...so maybe I tested a little early. But I couldn't help myself! Yesterday I took a HPT...in the evening...after work...and it was negative. I was only 9DPO, so that could have something to do with it...or it could really just be negative. I've decided to wait until I'm late.....but we'll see how I feel tomorrow. :)

The Two Week Wait........

This really stinks! Can I just say that? I hate having to wait...and not knowing for sure if it worked this month or not. I am reading way too much and other early PG symptoms...and I shouldn't be. It's making me crazy!! I wish there was some way you could tell right away...like...a bell goes off...or your hair turns a different color...something...anything...to help make this waiting period more manageable!!

How do you know how much stuff you REALLY need?

This is a question that has been pondering me ever since DH & I decided to have a baby. There is so much stuff out there for babies now. Really...it's a wonder all of us turned out ok!! I'm already feeling the pressure to "buy" into the fact that we will actually need all of this stuff. Slings...swings....strollers....bassinettes....boppies....organic...not organic......it's enough to make your head spin. And there's the guilt that you feel if you don't buy it all......this is not going to be an easy process...

One thing I have checked into is the idea of cloth diapering. I'm all about helping the environment. I've started using reusable grocery bags from envirosax.com, and I feel like this is another way I can help do my part. Not to mention it's better for the baby...and can help prevent diaper rash, etc. By no means am I do researching this topic. I am amazed at how many choices there are for cloth diapers. Long gone are the days of diaper pins....now it's all about velcro and snappy's? Stil haven't figured those out yet...but there will be more on this topic later :)
