I love fall. I love apples. What's even better? When you can pick apples in the fall :) And pick we did. Back in October, we joined some friends at a local orchard to do some serious picking. Well...turned out everyone else had the same idea. We went hunting for some Granny Smiths...and came up short. We were even looking on the ground for decent ones...until...we hit the jackpot...well..I say jackpot...but it's all relative. When you've searched and searched...and then finally came upon like say...10 apples still on the tree...that's jackpot :)Eleanor & her buddy Aubrey were pretty stoked about the apples. Got some cute shots of her while we were there :)
Hopefully we'll do better next year. Now we know to hit them early in the morning...and early in the season. Lesson learned!
