11 weeks!!

I can't believe our next appointment is next Friday already! We're SO excited for that appt since we'll finally get to listen in on our little one....and finally know for sure if there's more than one in there. DH keeps joking that there's twins...so I guess we'll know for sure very soon! :)

Ok....so I finally...finally....ordered more maternity clothes. Can I just say how much I heart Old Navy Maternity! They are cheap...and very fashionable...and most important...they are comfy! I can't wait to get them. I got a pair of nice black work maternity pants from Motherhood Maternity last weekend....but they weren't cheap. I'm saving them so they stay nice and so that I can wear them throughout my pregnancy. I have to say...I like the way they look when I hold them up too! They have the full panel for your tummy...so they look like a pair of size 6 pants! Gotta love the illusion of appearing smaller :)

Bella Band....You're My Friend!

So I finally got my Bella Band in the mail late last week. I wasn't sure how much I would like it, but decided to give it a try today. All I have to say is...."Ahhhhhhhhhh". I can finally get back in my work pants. Granted...they aren't buttoned or zipped...but...by golly I got them on! :) And they feel good. I was more worried about losing my pants, but they feel pretty secure. I may have to suck it up and buy some more maternity pants soon, but in the meantime, this is working out just great! :)

A word about cravings..........

I wish that I was craving something healthier. I can't seem to get enough "bad" food lately. I crave fast food...I crave pizza....I crave ice cream....just once I wish I would crave a salad. Today...my obsession was Taco Bell.....I haven't had Taco Bell in years!! Why I craved it today...I have no clue....but I'm hoping this passes at the end of this month! I'm starting to think that our baby is gonna come out with high cholesterol....and high blood pressure from all the crap I've been eating. It's just that nothing else sounds good lately. I can't even go in the grocery store because the smells overwhelm me...and make me want to vomit right there in the aisle. DH is definitely gonna need to take on grocery duty soon, as well as chef, because not only do I want to eat junk food, but I also don't feel like cooking when I get home. Everyone keeps telling me that the second trimester gets so much better.....let's hope so!! :)

9 weeks already....

Our baby is the size of a grape now! I can't believe how fast the last couple of weeks have went by. I will post pictures tonight of our 6 week & 8 week...sorry...I'm already slacking. What can I say...I'm exhausted all the time...and feel nauseous...so being on the computer when I get home is that last thing I want to do...but tonight...I will post :)

Our first doc appointment went very well. We didn't get to hear the heartbeat yet, but she promised that on our next visit we will be able to. I will be 12 weeks, almost 13 by then, so we can't wait to hear the little one! It still doesn't feel real to me yet....I guess because we haven't heard anything or had an ultrasound. Some days I wake up and think..."Oh my gosh...what did we do?".....but I know that's just a normal process...and eventually it will sink in...hopefully sometime before the baby gets here! :)
